Our tiny house blog is a great resource for anyone wanting to embark on the tiny life, or any other significant do-it-yourself project. It covers the nitty gritty details of how exactly we achieved the steps of our build, thought processes that went into the decision making of our build, research, logistics, challenges, and more. There are plenty of pictures and some video to help demonstrate what I try to describe, and we welcome all comments and questions. One of the goals with our blog was to inspire and engage other Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who want to prioritize minimalism and sustainability for their lifestyle, and based on the feedback we've gotten, it is contributing to that concept in spades! We look forward to adding more content now that we've returned home from Japan and will be re-igniting our tiny house build for the interior finishes! We cannot wait to complete the build and finalize land purchase so that can finally start living in our tiny house and invite others over to see how attainable and realistic this lifestyle choice is!

We focus on low and no tech approaches and human scale systems to create resilient, diverse and productive plant and animal systems. We offer support and plants to folks ready to create food forests where they live!
The Youtube channel is basically about my personal activity, originally I started it thinking my great grandchildren might be interested. I was interested in my Grandfathers but there isn't much out there to find out, and that's why. I have since expanded the ideas to include my discovery of permaculture.
